Meritaten

This is my 2nd entry for A-E ladies contest, Hisorical Women of Egypt. [link]

I worked REALLY hard on this, and my scanner seemed to elongate the picture. So her face (and forehead XD) is WAY longer that it is really....... And it also ruined my shading....whatever.

So, this is Meritaten, Daughter of the renowned Nefertiti, when she is about 5 or 6 years old. She is standing behind/besides a column. I got the pillar designs from The 10 Commandments, (Which is an awesome movie, watch it!) the pillars in Ramses's throne room near the end.
I used a reference for the lighting on the nose.\

And I was using this fancy new art paper for this drawing, and it didn't fit in my scanner, so some parts are cut off. not much though.

Tools: I used a mechanical pencil, drawing pencils, blending stumps and an eraser to make this.
